About K1 Risk
Experience You Can Learn From
K1 Risk grew out of three careers where calm decisions save lives. Military, emergency medicine and law enforcement shape every class.

Yonty Urrutia, Founder
Yonty served in the US Army with the 162nd Air Defense, where he was named Soldier of the Year and earned the Army Commendation Medal. He then spent 20 years as a paramedic, including flight medic and field training officer roles.
He has worked more than two decades as a licensed private investigator, including criminal, civil and death investigations, and served as an Oregon deputy sheriff. He also teaches CPR, First Aid, ACLS and PHTLS.
